My photographs were presented as part of the Third Art Evening at Pershyi, an exhibition of work by photographers and artists dedicated to art for audiences aged 18 and over.
For me, participating in exhibitions is an opportunity to show photography beyond the screen. In a gallery it is perceived differently: scale changes, texture and distance from the viewer emerge, and every image becomes part of a shared exhibition.
The exhibition featured my work in Nude, Erotic and BDSM photography. In these genres, openness and sexuality matter, but so do the aesthetics of the human body, character, emotion and the story within the frame.
For me, photography does not end when the shutter is released. There is a special moment in seeing it printed, displayed in a physical space and left alone with the viewer.
